Dirt one day, street the next. We have another dirt rider, Steve Massey (former Texas dirt champion) just bought a KX250F and cant wait to get it dirty.

Saturday seems more suitable to street with Sunday's chill favoring dirt at say Muenster, any votes??

After seeing the weather report, I'm down with this instead of Gilmer.

I'm kind of hoping that the Sunday forecast improves a bit for street action...I can't do Saturday, and I no longer own a dirtbike, so that leaves Sunday as my only option.

I'm in for a ride Saturday morning. I'd rather go south south/west though.

Smokey is awaiting new cylinder. Go figure, all that worry about the dam valve clearances and it was the bottom end that got knackered.

Do you have to have dirt bike for dirt action?

From the looks of Amber's bike tonight, it doesn't matter dirt/sport bike.

Amber, what's up with that? Looks like you took your R1 on the dirt.

She rode it down a dirt road about 2 MONTHS ago and STILL hasn't washed it. I'm worried the stuff has permanently bonded with the bike.

...but she's been busy smile.gif

She spent last night performing her best immitation of Picasso on the Aprilia's fairings so the R1 is still filthy.

Can't do it today Marty. I want to ride Sunday, but not 100% yet until I see some warmer forecasts. If it stays in the 40's, I'll probably stay home.

Hey, I'm not the one with the 100 amp service panel under my seat, and forced air heat in my clothes ! Who's the kitty here ?

It's looking like the [very] cold forecast is still on...which means I am not

If it improves dramitically by morning (say 50's to 60's or above), I'll ride somewhere (and faster than you ;) )

I had a pretty good ride today, albeit a little... no make that very windy one. I know Justin already mentioned this, but remember that on FM157 in Venus just south of 67 the road goes to ****e real fast. Not really what I'd call a paved road at all. And then right at FM1807 it gets back to normal.

Cheers,

As we started out, Steve pulled a massive wheelie and crossed a 20ft creek while riding it, I knew it was gonna be FUN. We all had an uber blast. I am sure there will be many Massey led TSBA dirt rides in the near future

PS: Albie lifted the curse of the TREE from me :D
