View Full Version : Hey a bike topic!!! Your latest Mods?

October 25th, 2001, 12:14 PM
Every other "bike board" I'm on .. they talk about their bikes!!?! Us? We just whine about what's wrong with the world :D :D :D

Lets hear it.. what've you done to your bike? What makes it different from every other CBFZZXGSX-R out there?
(track bikes don't count. :D )

Here's my current list for the 1K

-double bubble tint screen
-timing retard eliminator
-Valentine 1 radar locator with remote visual, remote audio, and 110db screamer alert

-tank braw to protect ****ty suzuki clear coat
-two bag tankbag system (tourmaster - the one John Orchard recommended - awesome bag)

Future add-ons (I hope):

-non-scratched body work smile.gif
-rear thumb brake for wheelie screwups
-two teeth on rear sprocket
-higher bars for touring
-daytona windscreen for touring

I'll play ...

2000 CBR 929 with Two Bros carbon/gold slip-on, Scotts damper and Two Bros fork adjusters, frame sliders, optional Beltronics radar, and ......that's about it.

Short list, but I decided that I don't generally keep 'em long enough to justify what I was putting into 'em. So, with this latest scoot, I go with a few essentials, ride the wind, get what I can for it (with minimal investment), and buy the next wonder-cycle of the month.
