Good News: The forks are re-asselbed and re-assembled and re-assembled. :D And the choke and turn signals now work again. :D

Bad News: The support for the upper is tweaked and thus the upper doesn't match up with the side fairings. :mad: I never really noticed when it was apart but if you look closely the gauges are sitting at an angle and the two mounting points for the upper are out of alignment. I thought about bending it however I'd probably never get it to align up just right and for some reason they made it out of steel so its pretty stout. Back to ebay it looks like. :mad:

Bring it by, we can put it in a vice and try to bend it back.

Someone needs to buy or borrow a level if you intend on doing it right. Just a thought. ;)

Pete has a point. I tried to straighten the one on Jeff's EX250 with mixed results. In the end it was one of the parts we had to buy, $110.

However, if you plan on replacing it anyway.........what is the harm in making an attempt to straighten it?
