Okay, it's been so long since I bought tires, who has the better prices?

If your into dot.com purchasing, I shopped around and found that Chaparral (http://www.chaparral-racing.com/) had the best prices for Bridgestone's.

I picked up Avons prior to the BT's for a good price at Tire Express (http://www.tireexpress.com/).

Here are a couple others you can browse: http://www.discountmotorcycletire.com/

The boys over at Sportsbikes.Net Store (http://www.sbnstore.net/subcatmfgprod.asp?0=211&1=222&2=1100)sometimes have decent pricing.

Happy hunting....

What brand are you looking for or do you care? Also, what size do you need?

OK guys and gals I got a deal for the TSBA from my buddy, Bill Capshaw, at ICE MOTORSPORTS 210-520-6554. He is a Dunlop distributor and sells at all the races and track days, so you get racer prices. Buy your tire(s)from him and he will pull the old tire, mount and balance the new one for you for free. He only ask that you bring the rim and not the bike. :D :D

Stay away from Tire Express until after the 1st of the year. They are having "systems problems" w/ their delivery people. I ordered a front D205 for my Connie on 11/6/01 and got a letter yesterday from them telling me they couldn't ship ANY tires until after 12/10/01 and would I like to please wait.

Extream powersports matched Tire-express's tire price $142 190 Rear, after I called them and asked if they would accept a shipment from TE. Watch your rim's though.

I buy from Chaparrel all the time. In fact, I just bought another rear BT020 tire from them. Shipped to the door for $95.97
I got 5200 miles out of this tire.

What's wrong vinny, cat got your tongue and your fingers? There's nothing in your post. Thanks for the info everyone. I managed to get a good deal keeping the same brand I've grown to like AND in town, so no shipping costs or wait since it's the holidays. Hopefully, I will be on the road Sunday if it's not WET again.

If it's sweet enough maybe we can give it a try. Unless of course there was some unzipping of the leather flirting that took place (just kidding Jan! smile.gif ) in which case we guys would be just out of luck! :D

I tried that with Jan. It didn't work. She told me to put my leathers back on...

Vinnym I told you I like the mystique of it all, remember? Troy had the rear for $140 and I was also having a manufacturer's maintenence check with it. What sucked was I took the bike in on a Friday and though it was ready Sat. morning, it stayed there all week because of this **** rain. I got to ride it home yesterday when we had a brief moment of sunshine and it sits all nice and dry waiting to go ... WHEN?????? Will this rain ever let up? Can't even go out on the dirt bike. :D
