If David will take a grand I'll bid $1100 in a hart beat.

In '85, when this bike first came out it was the fastest quarter mile production motorcycle on the street. In '86 its big brother, the ZL1000, achieved 0-60 in 2.19 seconds recorded by Cycle Magazine. This bike is a Billy-Bad-!ss of it's day as a performance cruiser and the stock performance cruisers of today still have a hard time topping its performance. The only place today's bikes have it beat is in manufacturer's recomended services.

Book is low on this bike but it's rarity brings it value to the beholder.

Gotta go with Kerry on that. The V-Max was the king of the quarter in the 80's

Wasn't that beeting just by a couple tenths of a second. Oh, and what, they couldn't make a 900cc to accomplish that, they had to go and up the displacement by 300cc's to do it, right?

By the way, you should watch your language on the BBS. Knowing what the word is should be enough by adding #$%$%^&*! type of symbals. Besides, it leaves a little to the imagination. :D
