Ok, finally got around to this.
When we came to Texas 15 months ago, everything we brought fit inside the cab of the truck and in the diamond plate toolbox you see in these pictures.
This is the pile of stuff that we managed to accumulate over 15 months and had to fit in the truck.

Notice I changed shirts. Nothing like loading a truck in 100 degrees to get you heated up.

Geez Hammer, I've lived here for three years and don't think I have accumulated that much crap!

Would love to get back into dirty bikes, but that would require a job that pays worth a **** and maybe, just maybe, actually gives raises...

I never even noticed your little adjustment to this picture before Shawn. And just for your info, there are two cowboy hats there. One I bought here and one of two that I already owned.

You forget that I really am a redneck.

Believe it or not, it really wasn't that bad. I was REALLY surprised.

It took about 90 minutes total. Filling out paperwork for the bike was handled by the officer while Ruth and I filled out paperwork detailing everything in the truck. They allow you to group things like 'Men's Clothing'. So it really wasn't so bad. Had we known ahead of time, we'd have had that completed and been through in less than 30 minutes.

The 90 minutes also included a 20 minute stop at the US side to get the title on the bike cleared before we hit the Canadian officers.

Overall, it was completely painless and they didn't find the stash of firecrackers which are illegal in Canada.

The new one doesn't even sink with 350lbs sitting right at the tailgate. Not even a half inch. I'll try and get pictures posted today.

I know. You're still an asshat. And by the time you see me next, I'll be all svelt looking and ****.
Not eating in restaurants every day is already having a positive impact on my waistline.

Well, that and the never ending list of chores I have to complete since we've been home.

Looks like you did well on your loading Hammer. You have almost as much gear in that truck as one of my week long camping trips. After being Infantry for 12 years I don't ever plan on camping light again.
