Record low it seems. It feels like an eternity since they were so low. Alfredo told me today that it is $2.22 a gallon in Hidalgo, TX.

They'll stay low, unless another hurricane hits the Gulf. Or some $*** happens in (insert Middle-Eastern oil producing country here). Or OPEC feels the need to play with the price per barrel.

Enjoy these low prices while you can. There are alot of factors that affect the price of gas. But we've already shown Big Oil that people will pay the higher prices, without alot of consumer reaction. And the oil companies like those "record profits".

I'm sure tensions will rise when it becomes unavoidable to deal with Iran, but I'm sure we'll get over that speed bump without getting too rattled with some spikes over short periods. ;)
