If I was still in TX, my bank account would be a bit shorter today.

Hyosung is a S. Korean company that makes a knock off of the SV650 or as the Hyosung rep told me last year Suzuki ripped them off. They are trying to move into the US market with their bikes.

From the Hyosung website regarding the engine: "Designed in Hamamatsu, Japan." Yup, Suzuki ripped Hyosung off and Sadam was just misunderstood.

Why would I buy that particular bike? Because I know the owner/builder/servicer. You can't beat that deal.

this is just my understanding.. and I could be wrong, but..Hyosung actually manufactured the SV engines for Suzuki (at least for a while) ....

I know what Hyosung is, I was referring to Moe's comment about it being a Hyosung replica.

Do some research on "Eric Falt" on the CMRA web site, then tell me that you still think that's a Hyosung replica.

Hyosung has the same tooling from Suzuki, but I don't think they actually manufactured the engines FOR Suzuki. Could be wrong, but my understanding was that they (Hyosung) had the tooling from Suzuki...
