Yeah, my R1 is on the block. Any of you wanna fly up here and ride it back? Tim and Brad can tell you what a lovely trip it'll be. :D

Power commander, good rubber, small lighting mods, punched out cat. Complete nylon and delrin slider kit. Aux power outlet. Otherwise stock. 10,500 miles and well maintained.

For TSBA members, only $7500 because you gotta pay airfare...... Priced higher locally.:lmao:

Apparently 10K miles is a bit much for some of the squids up here. I keep hearing "Wow, that's a lot of miles", to which I respond "Most people crash them at about 3,000. Sorry I can ride."

Fogging squids......

Maybe you should tell them how old you are and then tell them they are easy miles. :lmao:

You're not appoaching this sale correctly to sell it to a squid. Tell them it's a former race bike converted back to street, tell them a few stories from your racing days, show them that picture of you laying a black patch on it at the track, tell them you'll throw in an autographed pair of kneeslider with the purchase, and raise the price by 2K.

Ya know.... if I don't get more action this weekend, I'm gonna try that. Seatle peeps seem to buy BS a lot.

Heck, around here I could tell them I have DOT Race Birkenstocks on it an that it's a "free range" R1.

Yeah, but it's a nasty blue color. Silver is best.;)

The add says it hasn't been down, but I wonder how many times it has been up...

Heh, got over 12K on mine. Not gonna try to sell it, just gonna trade it in on a '07. Hopefully in the next week or 2 if I can manage to get a day off to get up to Altus.

If your buying a 2007 R1, make sure they replace the ECU. All new R1's have a 2nd gear throttle glich, at 5500 rpm. Yamaha won't admit to a full out warrently problem, but they've started replacing the ECU's on a case by case basis.

Most sportbikes are crashed way before the wear out. I put 50K on my last one and it was still running great.

Does the price include the anti-highside control unit? :)
