I won a Scorpion EXO-400 helmet. With six helmets and a need for cash, I am putting it up for sale.

I am hoping to get $99 (less than fleabay is for discontinued models) plus the shipping if needed. Otherwise, make me an offer. To look at the EXO-400s Go to http://shopping.scorpionusa.com/F4BD78EED51D4762989F1184B1165B96.asp?cat_id=FBF05A C4DB8843C1B0FF76893F5540D5&pc_key=2902467BA3394B998F79120EA002430C&retpage=%2FF4BD78EED51D4762989F1184B1165B96%2Easp&nm=Street+Helmets&spath=Home+%3E+Equipment+%3E+Street+Helmets&path=Home+%3E+Equipment+%3E+Street+Helmets&sc_id=E5762D6FE0FF4B9A95B8D8F4F8D4AD8D
The dealer also had some of the discontinued designs and I will ask if they have the older design if that's what you want.

Decide which style and size that you want and I will call to verify that it is in stock. If not in stock, I will get an ETA and make sure that works for you.

Thanks, Mark

I edited the post and moved it from $120 down to $99. They are going for at least $103 on eBay without the choices. If you want to make an offer..... Just PM me. And the shipping to Houston shouldn't be that much.

Mark,
From the website, it appears that the 700 is a Fiberglass/Kevlar shell as opposed to the Polycarbonate Composite shell for the 400. I'm looking for a replacement for my current 700 and am wondering what the weight diff is?. Any chance you can use your coupon plus the $ diff?

Sunny, there is virtually no weight difference between the 700 and 400, despite the shell material difference you correctly point out. I've checked it myself on several different helmets and they have always been within an ounce of each other.

I shall take it, if you can find my a beautiful woman to wear it while riding on the back of my GIXXER. And help by putting her feet down at the stop lights...

Just kidding neighbor, but I'm seriously considering it.

As far as fit and feel...... I switched off between a 400 and a 700 and could not tell a difference. The 700 is suppose to have a little better ventilation, but I even argue that. Scorpions use quick-wick liners and do not point air direct to the head; they use the airflow to dry out the liner. Smart design in my book. I have also switched liners between 400s and 700s.

And no, I can't switch between the helmet series. It is 400 series only. But I like the way you think. Heck, if they would have done that, I might have even been willing to give a 1000 series a tryout. I don't have one of those.
