Are we talking dirtbikes or streetbikes?

I used to have a 14' flatbed. We hauled 5 nice streetbikes to CA on it without any issues. That's the low end of the question.

If dirtbikes, then the 14 will probably be fine for 8, but I like my streetbikes a little further from one another.

If you're talking streetbikes in an enclosed trailer, I wouldn't go less than 8.5 x 22 and that's a BIG freakin' trailer.

For streetbikes, my absolute minimum space is 7' x 3' per bike. 21 ft/sq per bike, times 8 bikes is 168 ft/sq. An 8.5 x 22 is 187 ft/sq. The reason for 22 feet is to accomodate the 7' length of most bikes nose to tail.

Hope this helps.
