Only question is: Why sell?

I'm about to have my first kid in about two weeks, and am starting to feel somewhat ambivalent about street riding...not to mention that I'll be pressed for time. I'm also selling my 450 XC b/c it takes more time to maintain than my 2 stroke, and I've been thinking about selling both for a while.

That said, it won't kill me if they don't sell, and I'll keep riding them until they do. If I sell the Super Duke, I'll get a trackable convertible to make up for some of the motorcycle feeling.

I certainly can't think of any street bike I'd want to trade it for!

So buy it. I'll take the 14 off your hands. It depreciated about $2k huh? :mischief:

That Katoom is sweet... my garage could use one too. I need a 3rd job. :whyme:

The Duke is just fun. Stupid fun. "Hey, hold my beer and watch this" kind of fun.

I can't imagine the trouble I'd be in if I had one.

Squid doesn't even begin to describe what my behavior would be.

LOL! It's hard to describe how much fun the SD is. The following politically incorrent KTM vids capture the essence of the SD experience (mine has been ridden much more gently, I'd end up on my head if I tried to emulate these riders).

This makes me sad. I enjoyed riding with you at the IBI. Good luck with fatherhood.

Thanks, Phillip. Don't be sad just yet - I have a feeling my bike will be around for a while given the current economy. I unfortunately can't make the next IBI, but I'll def. try to make others if I still have the SD (and maybe even if not, if anyone wants a cage sweep ;) )

I enjoyed riding and hanging w/ you too, and hope our paths will cross again in the not-too-distant future.
