I've decided to sell the Hondog...just a little to compact for my "mature" frame. I have not posted it to Craigslist or Cycle Trader yet. I'll do that next week. If anybody around here is interested, let me know. I need to give it a good cleaning this weekend (after the AR bugfest trip last week) and take some pics. Here's the skinny...

2005 Honda RC51 (black/gray)
Sato CF exhaust
PCIII w/ custom map
K&N air/oil filters
Corbin seat
Helibars
T-Rex framesliders and rear spools
7,808 miles
Custom undertail/signals
Powerlet outlet (BMW style plug)
New battery

I also have the stock exhaust, seat, rear pillion, clip-ons, and I might even throw in a new set of Pilot Power tires (current rubber is about 50%).

All of this for the fabulous TSBA price of $7,500 OBO. Pick it up here, or I might do a half-way haul for an out of town (TX) buyer.

No vultures please...this is a real nice bike with no scratches, drops, damage, etc.

It's a black one -- the fastest color.

It's an awesome bike. The pipe on it isn't for condo-dwellers, though! It's got a pretty big sound!

I'm still sulking because I didn't get a 2000 VFR. ;)

Yea...sorry about that. I ended up selling that one to a guy in OK for more than I paid for it (that's only happened twice in all the bikes I have owned).

Me and the VFR line just don't get along. Nice bike, but not my thing.

I can imagine by the list of extras you've added to it.

You hosers had first chance...too late now. The Hondog is moving to Hotlanta this weekend. New owner. Texas will be a much safer, and quieter, place to live now.

Actually, the dude I bought it from purchased it new in TN, then moved to Vegas and took it there. I think it is actually working it's way back home...stranger than real, eh? The buyer says he is 30 minutes from the twisties and about 4 hours from Deal's Gap area, so he may see Marty around Atlanta.

(Marty moved to Atlanta. His kids are/were in Shreveport)

No plans to replace it for now. Just me and my BMW for the near future.

Check back around the end of February. My bet is the first days above 60* will bring a new toy home. ...if not sooner...
