I'm in for a short ride this Sunday. Wife is leaving the house to go out of town so I have to be home by 1:30.

I'm going to ride w/ Dallas this weekend on Sunday. I gotta get home early, too, and the good roads on the SS are a long way away.

How about 8:30. You have a route in mind or should I figure one out?

Anybody else?

I am good with that...I am not huge into routes. Just ride until its time to turn around; or you can plot a route. No difference to me.

Just wanted to post a warning about 917 I saw on twtex. http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33862

I (and Jim I think)have ridden with Ryan a couple times on the street and track and he is a good rider. In his post he also states one person was killed there. :( Keep an eye on the road as the conditions are getting
worse with all the oil trucks.

I really appreciate the info. I live 5 minutes from 917 an will be sure to watch out. We will be starting farther west than 917 so I am not sure it will be an issue; but the bigger issue is noted!

Thanks for the info PDef! I know part of 917 is fixed but who knows what they have torn up since then.

Just working on several projects and trying to get a little local riding in when I can. Last long trip was to Ark with the ST folks. Course...it's never enough:)

Y'know those weekends when it seems that everyone has something to do they can't get out of, and hardly anyone shows up?

This wasn't one of them. :D

9 - count 'em - NINE hale and hearty fellows showed up this morning in the crisp and dry fall air to ride. The weather was just spectacular - cool, warming into the low 70s, bright sunshine, crystal-clear air.

Craig led, Scott swept, we had lunch in Granbury, and all had a good time.

Good time today. Thanks Craig for leading. The 2 BMW's and I just got back from the 2 hour post-lunch ride. Beautiful day!

On a more serious note (maybe not as much fun to read as the picture is to look at)- Thanks to everyone that showed up. I was thinking we would have 4 people. Weather was great and so was the riding. Thanks to Craig for leading!
Good to meet some more new folks and I hope this is the start of a great fall riding season.
