Jc, his wife Kelly, Cycle Suspension Joe, Kersten and myself all booked our rooms in Austin for the 11th and 12th of April.

We plan to leave Friday morning, and check out Sunday before the race, then drive back afterwards.
I think Jc may stay Sunday night also.

Anyways, Joe has a room he will be willing to share cost with anyone that wants to go.
We are staying at Microtel by the airport, so it's close to the track and not to far from downtown.

We discussed seating at the meeting. Free motorcycle parking ($20) if we buy before 12/31/2013.

General Admission for a 3-day pass is $89.
Turn 15 is $149 for lower rows, $169 for mid rows, and $189 for upper rows.

Last year some special packages were offered. AF1 customers were offered premium parking in the support paddock for $30 with their purchase of grandstand seats. This offer showed up about a month before the race. I don't know if this will be offered again, but you couldn't add the parking after you already purchased the tickets. Had to be done at the time of ticket purchase.

Well, it seems that we missed an good presale deal earlier this month for $39 tickets.
I wonder if we should wait to see what they offer after the free parking deal.

I haven't caught wind of any AF1, or Honda ticket packages for this year. If we buy together we save the shipping cost of $15, but not the $10 processing fee or taxes.
I think I may wait until I hear of a good deal. Anybody have a good VOUCHER CODE?

I have that email from 12/3. It said that tickets start at $39. That was for a single day. Password was REDBULL.

When are we purchasing all of those GA tickets?

I was until I saw this.....

Limit 8 per transaction. Offer good while supplies last.
You must purchase pass in addition to admission ticket.

So it looks like 89$ + BS service fee + $150 paddock pass.

I havent bought GA tickets yet because I don't really need to until the end of March, and I need to buy everyone in our group a ticket and I didn't want to drain my account yet. I have to make sure I have enough for the hotels I have booked.

I've ended up with an extra General Admission ticket for all three days (or I will have it, when I get to the Will Call window on Friday).

Reply here or PM me if you're interested in it. You would have to meet me somewhere at COTA to get it.

After Friday's motoGP events, I'm meeting some FZ1 folks at an Austin brewhouse. Not sure what time Friday night I'll get back to S.A. I'll text you when I'm leaving Austin. If it's too late, then I'll see you Saturday.

U can always stop by the house on your way back in town. Probably can't do saturday morning. Going to the track early with some Austin folks.

FYI - Today, while at the COTA, I heard them announce that a local FM radio station (104.9) was providing live coverage of motoGP all weekend, and they also will stream that same broadcast from the website 'COTARADIO.COM'.

Now you'll be able to hear what's happening over the engine roar. So, bring some good headphones (or ear buds) and a small FM Radio, (or stream from your smartphone).
