    Thats right for a brand new 1000. I have never seen sport bikes so cheap, ever. If anyone is planning to buy one you better take advantage now. I saw this one at Sherman Power Sports,

    Then more likely it's going to be a typo. I found one at Longhorn Powersports similiar wording though for a SV1000s.

    However, I did find another one in Luftkin at Ross Motorsports for 8999 never cranked - brand new.

    You have to call the places to get the "REAL" price. When I was looking for a bike I checked with several places that had adds for $9,000 for new R1's. When you get the whole story you find out that with dealer prep and delivery it comes out to $10,000 - $10,500. They put the absolute lowest price just to attract attention.
