Faisal: Have a second choice for hotel ? Best Western is booked (only one room left when I called today). We need to find a place with enough open rooms for whoever is going (5 or 6 rooms ?). If Eureka Springs is popular at end of September (like the dude told me), maybe we should stay in another town. Any ideas ?

BEN: I'm pretty sure sportbiker929-Mitch and me are in too for the 9/29 ride up on the RCs.
I might be doing a pre-run up there 9/9 weekend with a chickie-poo too. I'll trailer up then. For her benefit of course.

    Let me rephrase that.
Plan-B is OVERBOOKED. (Days Inn Ozark) No rooms. Zero, Nadda. I got nothing. No puppies either.
We're staying in Ozark right, not Eureka Springs.

Double & triple up in the rooms. Surely, there's not that many going....

Hey! F1.....Check out Berryville, 15 min. east of Eureka Springs. They have motels, eateries & proximity to twisties. Maybe a future base of operations.....

Geez...what's going on here ? Must be a popular time of year for Arkansas trips. I suppose we can take Hank's suggestion and look at Berryville, or we can do Hot Springs Village or another [new] location.

Faisal, Darren...what do you suggest ? We better figure it out quick before the whole state is booked up.

    Another option...

From Ozark head Up 40 about 10 -15 miles to Clarksville. I seem to recall a Days Inn (and more) there.

I'll have to investigate. It's still a mystery to me why the Days Inn In Ozark would be booked out a month. Not like there's anything exciting to do there.

Dang, whats going on in Ar this w-end. I like both Clarksville and Berryville, right on the twisties. Looks like Clarksville has vacancies.

Good deal. My room is reserved also. No room mates needed here. I snore, so I stay to myself. No need to get snuffed out by a pillow from a room mate.

The rest of you hosers better act fast. Mention Khan for a room. He has connections.

It is F,S,S (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) trip. Ride up, ride back.

If you must wimp out, you may truck up at your leisure. It's just a few miles further up 40 past Ozark in Clarksville.

I'll be testing the Dunlop Qualifier rubber on this run. Testing a size change tu, going 180/55, should raise the rear by 4-5mm

I removed the shim (washer) when I went to the 180/55 on my 10. Felt perfect. Too low now that i have a 190 again. Not gonna waste the time putting it back though. I prefer the 180 much more.
