I figured out how to resize the pictures at Photobucket. So if the page is all screwed up for you, do a Ctrl-F5 to force a refresh that pulls the resized pictures from photobucket.

That looks like it would be a blast. I haven't been on a sled in years and when I was, they certainly didn't look like those. What kind of horse power are those things putting out?

I should have taken pictures of Dave's friend's sled.

Stage III turbo in an RX-1. 450HP at the track.

Completely lightened tunnel, windowed track, almost the entire sled is Titanium. Weighs about 500lbs.

How's that for a power to weight ratio? Almost a horse per lb of machine.

I can't wait to go back in the spring to ride for a few days.

I've ridden sleds since I was 8. Had my first machine at 9. And back in the 70's there was no such thing as a kid's sled, we learned to ride a full-size machine.

That RX-1 of Dave's is the first sled I've ever been scared to crack wide open. When that turbo winds up as you're climbing that hill, it's an unbelievable rush.

Hey, in the spring, it's 60 degrees up there. You can ride in t-shirts.

When we were riding, it was about 30.

And those are fahrenheit numbers. I try and translate for you cretins.

Year number 3 with no sledding for me. Hell I'd settle for mountains **** flatlands.....
I guess bikes are like women. What you think you want, and what you really want, change after the first ride.
