Default Fall IBI- BBQ Dinner- head count

I called "Just Bar-B-Q" to verify they would be able to provide eats for the Saturday shindig. The Dinner options poll showed 13 votes for BBQ vs 8 vote for Vinnies Italian.

However, I need a better estimate of how many BBQ food plates we will actually need, including spouses & guests of members. This estimate will give Myra & Sherri (Just Bar-B-Q) a better idea on how much chicken, brisket & sauage to buy & prepare.

If you could, please post up in this thread if you are planning to eat BBQ on Saturday night, how many plates you need, and what meat combinations you want. (I would like to relay this estimate to Just Bar-B-Q by Tuesday, Oct 2nd, if possible)

Dinners run $7.50 for single meat, $8.50 per BBQ two-meat plate - (chicken & brisket, brisket/sausage, or brisket/ribs) plus beans, potato salad, pickle, jalapenos, bread, desert, & tea or soda. They will be delivered to us around 6:00 pm. I will be collecting the money for the dinners from you on Saturday morning, right before we have the pre-ride meeting. This will provide Just Bar-B-Q with our exact plate count. Please have your cash ready.

Just Bar-B-Q has very good brisket, chicken and Jalapino sausage.

OK - Here's the plate count I gave to Just Bar-B-Q today...

    Two-meat plates:
    - 10 x Brisket & Sauage
    - 8 x Brisket & Chicken
    - 6 x Brisket & Ribs
    - 1 x Ribs & Sauage

    One-meat plates:
    - 4 x Chicken
    - 2 x Brisket
    - 1 x Ribs
Plus I ordered a few extra two-meat plates, for any last-minute additions.

The above count was to give them a idea on how much meat to buy. If you haven't posted with your plate choice yet, do so now. I will call in any additional orders, up until Saturday morning at the IBI starting point in Kerrville.

The plates will include potato salad, beans, bread, onions. jalapenos, a desert (peach cobbler) and sweet or unsweet tea.

I will be collecting for the dinners Saturday morning, before the 8:30am ride meeting. The cost per single meat plate (with tax) will be $8.00. The cost per two-meat plate (with tax) will be $10.00. Please have your cash ready on Saturday morning.

The B-B-Q plates will be delivered to Frio Springs Lodges at 6:30 pm (sorry, couldn't get it delivered any earlier.)

    I'm ready!
