I think that ever since Dallas has been on the BBS, we've dominated the postcount. Remember Geek? good lord that man could post.

I just can't see passing him, either, unless he leaves his keyboard kick stand down and runs of the edge of the desk or something.

    He's just too fast.

We could always get his work number and make fake help desk calls. "This is Dr. Brock Von Thrustington in Radiology . I can't seem to find the "any key". Could you please help?"...;-)>

ShoooooooWeeeee that fire water is strong stuff.

I've been road testing various adult beverages. Jack's single barrel is OK, but the normal fire water was better IMO. Today I got some gentlemen Jakc, Knob creek (always makes me laugh) and some Johny Walker. I want to see the difference. Knob Creek (ha!) is lighter in texture than Jack. Jack is sweeter and heavier - it doesnt evaporate as quickly.
Havent broken the seal on Johny's bottle yet. We'll give that a shot tomorrow.

Ok - I'll get it next go around.

I'm still dizzy. Clearly I don't drink enough b/c I got no tolerance for this crap.

    Makes music better though.

Runs up the post count too!

Two bourbons and a scotch. Which Johnny?

As to your selections in Bourbon, they are horrible in my opinion as a Bourbon drinker.

Try Woodford's Reserve, Bookers and Basil Hyden. All are unique, all are leagues better than the rot gut you just got through pouring in your glass (well, knob is OK).

Serve it up, 2-3 oz pour, 3 rocks. Sip and savor.

Now, what to do with that bottle of Knob and "gentleman" Jack you have sitting around?

With the Knob, put a large handful of freshly cut mint leaves in the bottle and store the bottle in your refridgerator for a couple of nights. Don't let the mint steep indefinitely. Serve COLD in 2 oz pours over crushed ice with a lemon wedge garnish if desired. Some also like a sugar rimmed glass, but I consider this an excess. This is a very refreshing summer after work treat. Break it out any time there are horses on TV or near your home for full effect.

With the Jack, stick it in the back of the cabinet until winter. On a cold night, pour the jack in a sauce pan along with two sachets of mulling spices. Heat until the smell fills your kitchen and the volume reduces by at least 20%. Serve warm to hot with good company.

Bourbon is a uniquely American drink, declared so by an act of congress in 1964.
