    Default Thursday night movie

    Forwarding my own email:
'LONG WAY DOWN' WATCHING PARTY AT NORTHWOODS 14!

This Thursday, July 31st, a handful of local theaters are showing a one night only screening of "Long Way Down". This is the follow-on movie to the Ewan McGregor adventure touring film "Long Way Around". The first movie was very well received and lots of people got the adventure touring bug from borrowing a friend's DVD copy. This time, the guys ride from the Northernmost tip of Scotland to the Southernmost tip of Africa. It's more than just a riding documentary. It's a look at the places, people and cultures along the way. And of course, thereís a ton of great riding footage for the adventure touring addict or wannabe. For one night only, it is going to be played on the big screen in a special director's cut. More about the movie here: http://www.longwaydown.com/

At the request of Moto Liberty, the Regal Northwoods 14 theater has specifically invited motorcyclists to come enjoy the movie. They will be blocking off a portion of their parking for bikes. So we would like to make that location the official watching party. The theater is located near 281 and 1604. It's set back behind the other main shopping in that area (HEB, Barnes & Noble, Kohl's), and is best accessed from Henderson Pass. The movie starts at 7:30, but come early to ogle the bikes in the parking lot and make some new riding friends. Advance tickets are available at the box office and there will be only the one showing, so plan accordingly.

WIN A FREE OLYMPIA STEALTH SUIT!

Bring in your ticket stub from "Long Way Around" to Moto Liberty San Antonio any time in the month of August to be registered to win an Olympia Stealth mesh touring suit. This is the one that so many Texas commuters and tourers have figured out is the best way to beat the heat and stay protected. Itís perfectly at home doing 500 mile days or keeping your khakis clean on the way to the office. No matter which theater you see the film in, bring in your ticket stub to the store for your chance to win one of your own. Deadline for entries is Aug 30th and winner will be notified by email.

SO? Who is in for going to watch?

Nathan Deb and I might make it.

I just need to finish getting both bikes ready for the IBI before I commit.

If I make it back from Acuna in time I am in, looks like I may have to
make a run out there for the day on Thursday for this project I am working on.

From what I found out online it's only 2 1/2 hours (condensed version I guess)
