Hey guys...need a little bit of your help. Sport touring guys, Gary, Ivan, Mark?

Just bought this sport touring bike...headed to Moto GP in Indianpolis in Sept. Needed a few things to get this thing road worthy..it's in great shape just need your technical input.

    1. Tires, looking to get new tread put on this bike. Do you guys have the expertise to remove and install tires for this bike...can get kind of quirky with the ABS, single sided swingarm?

    2. Radar mounts: I have been searching the internet but, haven't found a site that "shows" how a mount will work on this bike for my radar detector? The triple clamp is plastic cover which sits the heated grips, abs button and hazards...recommend any sites or products.

    3. Anybody who is interested in riding up with me for MOTOGP...would be a good time to put in your count, so I can start researching hotels and routes. My wife is flying in that weekend, since she doesn't have the time off with work and all. It should be a good weekend!

    Your input/help is appreciated.

So far we have about 8 bikes that are planning to ride up to Indy for the Moto GP race from the Rio Grande Valley. Planning to ride up on sept. 09, and ride up to arkansa and ride the hill country up there then slab it later to Indy and arrive Friday. Will return on Sunday and stay in Illionios for the evening, then do an iron butt to Austin monday arriving sometime in evening. then return to RGV on tues. Feel free to join us and we will be staying at motels 6 along the way.
    Hope to see you.

I believe many Harley guys spend more time revving their engines than actually driving anywhere; I sometimes wonder why they bother to have wheels on their motorcycles.
