In. Will be on a new BMW R1200GS, so will not have much in the way of speed (break-in). However, I know the way, so no need to wait up.

So is the other one in the shop for repairs or did you trade it in. You got gs model now. The s model has way more class. What's the word?

Tina has to fly to Europe Sunday evening, so we're heading out AT 08:00, as God intended. I think we'll do breakfast in Round Top. (far superior pancakes)
    Ya'll be careful out there.

Really beautiful day. Was good to be out after 3 weeks. The GS is a good scoot. I can see why so many riders like it.

What a day! Sorry I had to beg off a little early. Must remember days like today in the middle of August next year. Thanks for the lead and sweep. Kent on the GS still kept us on our toes {throttles}.

Sorry I missed out. I did get to pick up my Marvic rear wheel Saturday with new bearings and get the SS/SP back together today after church. I'm gonna wring it's neck next weekend in the Hill Country and then it's going up for sale. I may have a chance to buy my old SS/SP back and may try to do just that!

By the way, anyone want to meet me in the Hill Country this coming weekend? I'll post up a separate thread when I am sure I can do it.

Mike & I spent all day Saturday doing extensive testing to determine which is faster....silver or red/white/blue.
Our results were inconclusive, so more testing is required.

Or Pirelli vs Avon - Also inconclusive.

A great weekend of riding in the Hill Country. 50 in the morning and 78 in the afternoon. I guess you can call it a SaADR (Saturday All Day Ride)

Riding tip - After you have ridden the sisters a few too many times, hit the road from Rock Springs to Bracketville. It's a little bumpy, but fun. We saw no other bikes and only a few trucks outside of town.
The construction on 337 was interesting. I kept wanting to treat the center lane signs like slalom flags!!
