    Default incentives to join

    Question:

Would folks that are considering joining like any of the following:
    • Free careflight insurance as long as you are a member (renewed annually)
    • Storage of tires, extra battery, parts, for your bike so you always have what you need
Are folks that do track interested in a "bike prep" service so you are not tying things down at the track and full check to "certify" your bike as ready for a track day?

Would access to a trailer to the track service for fairly local tracks be of interest (mileage fee might apply)?

What else should Rene consider as an incentive for members? I don't own stock or the place. Just trying to help keep something unique up and running that folks would see value in and add to the value of our passion.

p.s. already told him that for Triumph riders we need a dart board

    Default Triumph fun

yeah yeah.. you're talkin bout my girl...

You did give me a good idea for a nice painted dartboard maybe on my hard bags.....

Might be hard to see at this flying pig's top speed of 164 miles and hour (Indian River Bridge per speedo +/- 5mph)

Legal notice: Any mention of a ridiculous or unsafe speed is merely for anecdotal purposes and is to be treated as hearsay taken with the same degree of enforceability as speed camera operators that are not licensed to tell the truth and thus are un-enforceable.

    Regards,

Well, Care Flight insurance is $100 a year, and it's not even valid in AR where I do most of my riding.

I can store my tires, batteries, etc. where I have 24 hour access, not to mention the tire changer I have 24 hour access to, and none of that costs me a penny. (well, technically the tire changer does cost $24 a year)

Takes me 10 minutes to prep my R1 for the track. And suffice it to say, that there's only 1 wrench outside of myself that I trust to work on my bikes and that's Dean at Metrictech. I actually enjoy working on bikes and feel that it's part of the enjoyment factor of owning them.

    I own a trailer

So I guess the question is, do I see value in paying $1200.00 a year for a membership? Nope, but that's me. I'm sure he will have no problem finding 100 people that DO find value in it. If at the very least there are easily 100 people out there that would like the exclusivity of it all. Even if he doesn't find a 100 willing people, I'm sure he'll keep it running.

Dude, only #1 applies to an R1, the rest apply to Suzi's and Kawi's.
