I'm planning on riding. I'm game for either fayetteville or the alternate smr route (but someone who knows the route will have to lead).

Great ride today guys. We had, I think, something like 9 bikes on the way to Orsak's(?). Four of us, led by Scott, for the post food run to Chapel Hill. Nice, sunny weather

great ride, great weather. I tried to go slow enough so y'all could enjoy the scenery.

I am glad that cop we saw on the way to chappel hill was preoccupied with something and didn't notice our shenanigans...

thanks to craig for leading the brookshire to fayetteville leg, and thanks to fred for sweeping the whole day.

Well... that cop was alert and ready for Tom and I. We both got $200 tickets on the way home . If only I had the cojones to open up the throttle, took him a while to swing a u-turn and blast after us. The lesson in all of this was next time after he passes me and goes for the lead, I'm turning around. I really thought he would give us a warning. The nice speed limit ride home gave me plenty of time to stew over it. Ah well, guess it is an inevitable part of riding

Glad you guys had a good ride, except for the tickets. I decided it would be good to clean out the garage today since I was moving all kinds of crap around to get the bike out. At least it should be clean for a week or two

Wow. Back by 2pm doing the entire route. Nice job except for the ticket which always seems to be the last one standing.

Thanks go to Craig for leading the morning ride and Scott for leading the long ride. Good group of 8 riders for the morning and 4 on the long ride. Sorry to learn about the tickets. I am glad the one Sheriff let us go unchallenged by his authority.

Here is the source I've used for Yamaha parts, they do Honda also.
Never had any issues with them and prices w/shipping are very good.
