    Exclamation SaMR 10/24

Anyone interested in meeting up? I will hook up with CBRDave to head to Luckenbach for the "classic bike" thingy. Weather looks to be good again. If you haven't ridden in a while, now is your chance to knock the rust off before the IBI (that goes for most of you)
Start from 281 and 1863 again. Picadillos mexican restaurant next to Lukes Chevon. Meet at 8:15 a.m. and leave at 8:30.
Meet up with Dave in Blanco again at the same old Shell station by 9 a.m.
We can do a ride before heading into Luckenbach. Probably eat there or at Alamo Springs Cafe.
A ride to follow lunch most likely.
This is a shorter ride and not too far from home....come on out brave souls.

You would have time to ride if you would quit spending all your time at the track when you should be working

    Big thanks to
Mike, Doug, Ray, PL, Bobby and Dave
Started off quit cool but warmed up nicely.
Did the ride to Luckenbach and then on to Alamo Springs cafe.
Luckenbach looked like a Ducati headquarters and Alamo Springs cafe was way overwhelmed with the crowds.
    Pictures to follow.....later

    Thumbs up

Had some fun today digging all the old scoots.
Plenty of old Triumphs, a BSA here & there, many obscure brands from the 19-teens, 1920's, 30's, etc.
A few Vincents, a BSA that served time in the Egyptian army. Can't quite translate that speedometer.
Lots of Honda 300's. Saw 1 CBX. As usual, the parking lot was as interesting as the show.
Seems each year there are bunches of similar machines:
Last year it was CB750 heaven.
2 years ago it was Guzzi central.
3 years ago it was a Lavarda in every garage.
Luckenbach is a such great place to have a bike show.

Thanks Mark for a exellent, safe lead.
After Alamo cafe, PL, Bobby & I zipped back to Blanco where Bobby departed to 281 & north Lake Travis.
I made it back to south Lake Travis & home; PL to Cedar Park.

Your right Mark... good day for a ride.

I thought the Harvest Classic was cool. Still think you should have tried to swap your ST with the guy that had the ultra custom bike you liked so much! Man, you would have been the talk of the town on that baby... complete with bull horns, fur seat, dinosaur horns, and the cool sticker on the tank that said, "F*** Cars!". I can picture it now!
