I believe many Harley guys spend more time revving their engines than actually driving anywhere; I sometimes wonder why they bother to have wheels on their motorcycles.

Not every member knows what I.C.E. is. Maybe someone should explain .
    What does it stand for?
    Thank you

We talked about this during the last meeting... Mr. Sectary forgot to add it to the minutes... I.C.E. stands for "In Case of Emergency" which basically is contact information for each of us in case of an accident. So in the unfortunate event that any of us goes down during a ride we'll know who to notify. Also, it is a good idea to put any medical information that would be helpful to METs (allergies to medication, know medical issues, blood type, etc.).

To expand on Carlos explanation of ICE, it started out as a way for first responders to contact someone on your behalf through your cell phone In Case of Emergency.

Since practically everyone carries a cell phone today, you can put a contact in the phone under ICE and first responders, or Emergency Room personnel, now know whom to contact. Before ICE, they would have to go through time consuming procedures like going through wallets hoping you put the info in there, or getting it from you, sometimes waiting if you weren't conscious.

That's what I heard too Gary but after talking with a few LEOs (dps & county), I'm not sure it's as publicized as we think. None of them knew about it but said it sounded like a great idea.

I'm gonna make an ICE label for my Helmet, as well as a "This Side Up" sticker for the bike.
