Default Moto Accident dowh there in SA

Hey yall. A good friend of mine was in a pretty bad moto accident either last night or this morning. Any of yall hear about it? Any news accounts?

He was admitted to ER and then moved to ICU. Some if not all of his family is there. Prognosis is not good at all.

Right now his brother doesn't really know anything about the accidents but he was going to try to get in touch with the police to see what they knew about the accident. Any info yall know or can find would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Good luck Chris

Yep that looks like his bike. That also tracks with the info that Robert was able to get. Some lady pulled out in front of him while he was riding.

He's not it too good of shape but the docs said without his helmet he'd be dead for sure.

Does anyone else wonder why the story headline doesn't say "Car violates motorcyclist's right-of-way!!!"?

The way this was written, it insinuates that the motorcyclists was at fault. No doubt the reporter is getting the info from the driver. It is what you can expect if the rider is unconcious and there are no objective witnesses.

One our members had a similiar situation where a pickup turned left in front of him. He ended up unconcious on the the truck roof. By the time the driver was finished with the dumb traffic cop, our member was cited for causing the accident.

Guess those helmet cameras are not such a bad idea.

Regarding your article about a motorcycle/car wreck on 05/24. “A man is the hospital after he crashed his motorcycle into a car.”….you have got to be kidding me! You make this sound as if it were a suicide attempt. How about, woman turns her car into the path of an oncoming motorcyclist; putting rider at death’s doorstep.

PS. If I am in such an accident, my wife has standing orders to have our lawyer subpoena the driver's cellphone records. If they are chatting or text messaging at the time of the crash....

The family is requesting recommendations for any lawyers with experience in motorcycle related accidents. You guys know of any down there in San Antonio?

If it was me, I'd call Mr. Phil Bernal at Ketterman, Rowland and Westlund.
