If you go to a RS event in June/July at ECR or MSRC I should be there. I have 2 credits I have to burn.

I may hit TWS in May with LSTD. Just worked with them over the weekend and I have to say a much better track experience than I have had with other organizers.

    Isn't BMP Barber?

You did some Corner Work? I've been intrested in doing that with RideSmart, going to get in touch with them soon. Did you like it?

I did not like it with Ride Smart. It was all over the place. I had to be track Marshal and it was my first time to corner work. It was every ones first time. It was just crazy. RS is good cause the credits are good for that season and the following season.

LSTD they are only good for that year unless it is one of the last 2 track days for the season. But it ran so much smoother. Pam and Alex do a good job communicating and explaining what they want from us. Seemed like they had more instructors also.

Email tom@lstd.com and tell him you are on TSBA. He is a member I think his name is VFR-Racer?

Dave just needs to get it together he is all over the place, doesn't pay his employees so it is no wonder they don't show up for Marshalling or instructing. He just pays them with trackdays.

Wow! Well Thanks for the info I'll get on it! I've also heard that a lot of people don't like RideSmart because of their instructors. I've only had two track days and both were with RideSmart so I can't say much, however I would have liked more one on one my first day.

It is hit or miss with instructors there. Some guys are great and some just ride around making sure you follow the rules. To get one on one you usually have to pay for a class. I have had one with Ronnie yet but several guys here know him, he is suppose to be great. Going to use my credit for a free trackday then pay the extra for the class.

Just from what I saw that morning at the Lone Star event Steve runs a tight ship and cares more about making customers than making a buck. Just my 2 cents.

You have 3 TSBA members who are instructors at LSTD. Sign up for the school (either regular or advanced, depending on your level) and we will take care of you.

To get your TSBA discount email Wade@LSTD.com prior to registering. Give him your name, that you are member of TSBA, the Chapter, what event / group / date / track you are registering for. Then register online at LSTD. When Wade bills you, he will do so at the reduced rate. If for some reason you have followed this procedure and you are billed at the full rate, let us know.

Remember, you have to let Wade know in advance so that he can apply the discount when he bills your credit card.

Hope to see you at the track!
