Is there no depth to the level you will sink to, just to ride?

I thought you said you bought a Sporster one time. Was riding it home for like and hour and pulled into the sportbike dealer on the way home and traded it in?

I'm not feeling the love. I am too old for sport bikes anyway. The guy even threw in his leathers, so I am ready to go.

I did. Sportsters really suck. This is actually my 5th Harley so far. I built this one in '90 and sold it 12 years later for a $5,000 profit!

I thought Harley's were supposed to be cool. Would you all prefer a GSXR-based hardtail?

Couldn't be any worse than the guy me and Frank ran into last night. Oh god.

"How fast have you had this thing?"
    "About 165 at TWS."
"Oh well I was just doing 155mph on 35, it was wide open open."

I don't recommend it. The Road King and the Street Glide are on the same FLH chassis.

I owned this bike for less than 24 hours. I bought it to resell. I put about 100 miles on it and I can report that it is a complete turd. The bike shakes when leaned over in a curve. I spoke to another Street Glide owner and he commented that it is much improved from the 1st year of the Street Glide, which would almost go into a complete tankslapper.

Go on a long test ride before you buy one. It does go in a straight line fairly well. The radio was the best part of the bike.

I see HD found a good use for the front brake lever--hanging that blue & yellow whip thing from it. Goes well with the assless chaps. Do new HD owners also get one of those red balls with the head straps? Really would complete the HD alternative lifestyle pirate look they work so hard to achieve.

My first street bike ever was a 89 1600 Goldwing (bought in 90) after I quit racing dirt bikes. If I ever bought another land yacht it would have to be another Goldwing.

I rented a Harley once in Vegas and dang near got killed passing a cement truck...or maybe it was just a really fast cement truck! I don't think I could ever actually buy one.
