Default Anyone Using Clear 4G For Internet Service?

I've been looking at Clear for my Internet. Most likely the home & mobile 4G. I've got Roadrunner Turbo now so my download won't be quite as fast.

Who has it and how do you like it? Any suggestions?

    Thanks....

I've had 3 of the modems since soon after it came out.

I have 2 "home" units now, 1 at home, and 1 at the office. Then the 3rd is the wifi mobile hot spot. For $80 unlimited for 3 of em, it's a deal. Luckily I'm in area's that get good coverage.

Thanks for the info Mike. So you're happy with the performance and service overall?

For the cost, yes for sure. I know others that haven't had the best of luck, but been good for me

As long as you are in the 4g coverage area they work pretty well. But don't trust the maps. We used them for a couple of sites that showed well within the coverage area but we couldn't pick up the 4g signal.

I had a sprint 4g device and never got 4g unless I was in Atlanta. Showed perfect coverage for Irving where I live but no 4g? I told Sprint I was canceling. Naturally they ignored me and sent me to collection. That's fine.. add that to the speed camera fines I don't pay unless it is from the city. Never been denied credit for any of that. I've got my lawyer looking into a class action suit. I bought the 4g "because" the map said I should have coverage. Should be interesting. I may get .14 cents after all said and done and after I spend about $5k on legal fees but it needs to be done! I'll have to wait on that kind of spend. Time to replace my track bike for next season and still have a legal bill growing for my lawsuit on the dealer that did not put oil in my Ducati 996.

Well... according to their map, my house is in a pocket without coverage. However... works fine here

Dang Mark, if you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all.

We tried it at the house and couldn't get coverage worth a darn. While trying to make it all work, I read some very unflattering things about them on various forums/help chats (although that is where struggling new customers congregate, so perhaps that's to be expected). Only had it for about a week, but never could make it all work properly despite sometimes getting indication of adequate signal (emphasis on sometimes). Really can't say anything positive about them, except that when I finally gave up on their non-existant customer service and went back to the sales location, they did take everything back and refund the money without too much hassle.
