    I'm in for a Fayetteville b-fast run.

I have to be back at lunch to take my family to Dewberry Farm in the afternoon...

I am a definite maybe. Took the Duc out for break in ride today, couldn't go over 5,000 RPM per Andy, so tops out at 80 now. After F-ville, it'll be ready to rip (in a good way).

I have family on town, so not sure if I can get away.

I've heard that those new bike "break in" recommendations are actually for the rider, not for the bike. It is supposed to keep them out of trouble until they get the feel of the bike and scuff up the tires. I've heard most vehicles are redlined at the factory as part of QC.

This was for a rebuild, and if Andy told me to wear a pink boa while breaking it in, I would do it. If I follow his recommendations and it goes boom, its on him. If I dont, its on me.

What in the world would make you think any bike you own would go boom?

Yep, rebuilds are different. Always follow the engine builders recommendations.

I can sweep. With 9 guests, no one will notice you are gone...

Good ride. Finished the break in miles and was able to get on it a few times. I freaking love this bike.

Only parts to fly off were on Redford's bike (his iPod). He found it on the way back, he must be living right.

Great day for a ride. Love the cool mid(?)-70's Fall weather of South Texas.

Fred, Scott, Staton, JRed, Tim, Jim, David Dr J appeared at the JIB and then disappeared.

Jim, Tim and I did the long route. A bit breezy on the way back but all good overall.

Wife and I rode to Fayetteville on the SV(getting there around 11:15). Good ride, no rain. Missus was happy with the ride - it's been about 4 months for her since we rode.
