Got my ticket. Bummer that Circuit Americas cancelled out Ridesmart Track Day Event.

Has anyone received their tickets yet? Thought they were supposed to go out in Dec, but haven't seen anything yet.

    Anyone?

Here is the reply I received back from the COTA website:

"We are still in the process of determining the method of delivery for tickets. However, if we do mail tickets, they will be sent out 4-6 weeks before the event."

I was wondering why we haven't heard anything, yet.

    Thanks for checking, Gary.

My receipt indicates a $10.00 mailing fee. Sure hope they don't give them to the U.S. Post Office to deliver.

I finally got around to getting mine. I thought $33 for parking a bike is ridiculous. Indy was free. There are 4 of us going so we will likely carpool. We are also looking for an RV site close by. So the beer will be close and cheap. The bikes will be there just not at the track.....
I guess bikes are like women. What you think you want, and what you really want, change after the first ride.

Got this from the TWT site: "Tickets will be sent out starting on March 27th through April 8th via FedEx 2-3 Express Mail."

I got a response last Friday that said "they'll be sent out 4-6 weeks before the event".

I finally purchased the parking pass, which was 73 freakin' bucks with fees. I'm staying at Staybridge about 7 miles away.

I went to the Grand Am race at COTA last weekend and the facility is really nice. My company has a suite there which is nice for getting liquored up but I'm more of a general admission, wander around to different corners kind of spectator. If anyone else is doing gen admission let me know and I'll probably wander by and say hi.

I noticed on the COTA website that college students & active military can buy a 3-day general admission pass for $49 at the gate, by showing ID. Great deal, if you meet one of those requirements.

Booked my hotel last night, just need to find a deal on tickets for GA.

Anyone going to the AF1 Aprilia parties?
