Default SMR (3/17) to Alamo Springs Cafe

Anyone up for a trip to Alamo Springs Cafe? Back roads of course. Maybe we'll see a bluebonnet or 2.

Weatherman says lows in the 60's and highs in the 80's.

Meet up at Valero at 1604 and Bulverde Road at 8:00am. KSU by 8:15am.

    Post up your intention.

I figure we wil arrive at the restaurant around 11:00am if we don't stop in Luchenbach.. A friend of mine from work is going to tag along. He rides a Yamaha V Star. Figure we will be in Blanco before 10am.

Hmmm, 11 may be a little too early for us. Might catch you guys before you leave there though. Have to see what time we can get started in the morning. How long you think it would take Mike, to go up Bulverde Rd, Rebecca Creek, 473, Old 9, to get to the Café? Streets and Trips says 2 hours, but I know that's not right! Is it?

Yes I have, but I need my beauty rest (Lord knows I need every extra minute ...)

I'll try to get there early enough to allow for bs & a cup of joe. C U then!

Most exellent ride Mike. Hey Doug. A bit cool overcast morning, got better later. (I know I'll miss the cool come June)

Alamo was the way God wants it, (that cat seems a bit jaded about what he eats).
Gary & Alvin showed up soon enough, the Harleys arrived, I went back to Luke, B/S'd awhile, back to Lake Travis.

    163 miles for me.
The Harleys used up all the premium gas in Blanco. (???)
The low water crossing on McGregor is now a proper bridge (that sucks).

These pics are a bit dim but you get the idea. (]n reverse order for some reason.)
