2005 MZ1000S Parallel Twin
Dropped on each side at a standstill though with some cracks to prove it - see pics with bags mounted to get idea -repaired behind fairing - Shoei Stickers are covering the blemishes - I didn't want to paint it so it was obvious what happened.
The previous owner rode this as his primary transportation from new. It was used as it was intended; he took great care of it. There are a few patina marks here and there are expected, but nothing horrible at all.
Touratech set up included. One of the bag locks needs some fiddling as it is sticking.
Birdgestone S20's with less than 400 miles on them. Not in pics. These were after I got her and was giving her a good cleaning. BTW, really cool design on wheels.
I get lots of interesting comments on this bike, it is fun to own. There are not many in the US, do a little research and see what you think.
I got this bike when a friend from Terlingua offered to swap me for my Triumph 1200. I like it, but I am not a Sport Touring guy. I'm a serial collector, but it pains me to see this not being used. The bike has a bullet proof reputation. The valves were recently checked and maintenance notes are under the seat.
You can still get service items for this bike.
Clear Blue title, owners manual comes with it.
Reason for selling.
Chain is on wrong side
OK, really; I'm not a touring guy.
Not looking for trades at this time. I'm saving my pennies for another project/goal down the line.
Bike is in Cedar Park, TX.
If it doesn't sell here, it will go on CL to the crazies...I'd rather keep it in the forum communities I frequent.
Thanks for looking.
Took it to MSRH for giggles...It did just fine. We were running intermediate, following bike is a Tuono. Nothing too exciting as we were being respectful to the intermediate group...oh, and it's a sport tourer...
