    Default Bexar County on C-14's?

I had a deputy pull next to me at AT&T and 35 yesterday on a Conours 14 all copped out. Looks like the agencies are finally getting some real performing bikes for use.

Most cops are allowed to use whatever bike they own, I don't believe the city issues them. I have seen BMW, Honda and Harleys with police markings.
He can stop a car now by pulling ahead and deploying the saddlebags

In some Texas Cities this is true Mark. I know Houston used to be that way. Ride what you wanted and the City paid you mileage. But here in SA, and Bexar county, the Dept's own them. Ex-TSBA member Joe Plano rides a ST1300 for the City of Live Oak PD now. That's not to stop a moto-jock from having his own bike with some "Police" markings and lights for side jobs though.

I'm pretty sure this bike I saw was a Bexar County issue.
