Nice. How do you like the bike? I have a friend that is trying to sell me one like it. I think his is an '01.

Mine is an 01' too. I love it. Granted it is heavy for anything tight or close to single track. But, the previous owner used it for transcontinental trips so it has a full array of accessories. The bike is comfortable on the highway and 70 is an all day reality. As always tires are a big part of things; I am running Heidenau K60 Scout and am pretty happy. But, having a full on off-road tire or a 90/10 would be better on occasion. The engine seems pretty bullet proof. Big Bend would be great on a KLR.

Going to have to buy more webspace just so we will have enough room for your listed bikes.

I sold the KLR and now will spend the colder months looking for a DR350 or XR400. There is more fun to be had and my street steed can take me on the long hauls. Plus I need a bike for the back of my FZJ80....lol

I also got rid of my KLR. It just didn't do it for me.
